In 2023, in the heart of Lucknow, a dream began to sprout — a dream not just to build a business, but to create a healthier and more sustainable way of living.

That dream became Leaf N’ Life.

This is our story — of how one person’s passion to bring freshness, health, and growth to people’s lives turned into one of India’s most inspiring microgreens success stories.

  How It All Started

Like many young professionals, I was working in the IT industry — but something inside me wanted to do more.

I wanted to create something meaningful, something that contributes to people’s health and happiness, not just codes and screens.

In 2023, I decided to take a leap of faith and quit my IT job to start something entirely new — a business built on nature, nutrition, and purpose.

That’s when Leaf N’ Life was born — with just a few trays of microgreens, endless curiosity, and the determination to grow.

  Learning and Growing with Microgreens

The journey wasn’t easy. Microgreens were still new to most people in India, especially in a tier-2 city like Lucknow.

There were challenges everywhere — from setting up the right growing conditions to convincing chefs and restaurants about the value of these tiny greens.

But what kept us going was passion and patience.

We studied each variety — radish, mustard, pea shoots, sunflower, basil, amaranth, broccoli, beetroot, and more — experimenting with flavors, textures, and nutrients.

We learned how light, water, and timing can transform a seed into a powerful superfood.

Slowly, through perseverance and innovation, we mastered the craft of growing high-quality, flavorful, and nutrient-rich microgreens — all grown locally and sustainably.

  Building a Business from the Ground Up

From those early trays, Leaf N’ Life grew into a full-scale microgreens brand trusted by restaurants, hotels, and cafes across Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh.

We started small, delivering fresh greens ourselves, talking to chefs face-to-face, and building relationships one partnership at a time.

Today, we are proud to collaborate with more than 40+ restaurant and hotel partners who trust our quality, consistency, and freshness.

Our greens now add flavor, color, and nutrition to some of the finest dishes served across the region.

But our story isn’t just about growing microgreens — it’s about growing people.

One of our proudest achievements is how we’ve helped hundreds of people across India learn to grow their own microgreens — right from their homes.
